Golden Linseed, also known as flaxseeds or golden flax refers to the flax plant (Linum Usitatissimum) with a golden-brown colour.
Linseeds are a great source of dietary fibre The NHS recommend eating linseeds to help relieve constipation. They also provide protein and omega 3 fatty acids.
Golden Linseed has a mild, nutty flavour with a crispy texture, mix into your morning smoothies or bake into your homemade bread. Flaxseeds can also be used as an egg substitute in vegan recipes.
