Creamy hot chocolate enriched with tahini, topped with crunchy maple-spiced nut bark shards.

Ingredients
Spiced nut bark
- 2 x 80g dark chocolate (70%+)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- Pinch cinnamon
- 3 tbsp walnuts, chopped
- 2 tbsp pistashios
- 2 tbsp flaked almonds
- Pinch sea salt flakes
Hot chocolate
- 500ml almond milk
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1–2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch sea salt
Method
- Melt chocolate and coconut oil gently. Stir in the maple syrup, cinnamon.
- Melt chocolate and coconut oil gently. Stir in the maple syrup, cinnamon.
- Chill until set. Break into shards.
- Warm almond milk in a saucepan. Whisk in cacao, maple syrup, tahini, cinnamon and salt until smooth.
- Pour into mugs and serve with shards of spiced nut bark on top or alongside.
