Chocolate pancakes… without the sugar crash. Naturally sweetened with dates, rich and fluffy - totally kid-approved.

Ingredients
- 6 Medjool dates, pitted
- 250ml plant milk
- 150g plain flour
- 1.5 tsp baking powder
- 4 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
To serve
- Greek-style yogurt
- Cherry compote or jam
Method
- Blend the dates and plant milk until completely smooth.
- Add the flour, baking powder, cacao powder, vanilla and salt. Blend to a thick batter.
- Cook pancakes in a non-stick pan over medium heat for about 2 minutes per side.
- Stack and serve with yogurt and cherry compote or jam.
