Rich, fudgy chocolate squares made with chickpeas, walnuts and cacao.
Finished with a creamy tahini swirl, orange zest and crunchy walnuts for the dreamiest texture and flavour combo.
High in fibre, naturally protein-rich and perfect sliced straight from the fridge.
Honestly? You’d never guess there are chickpeas in these.

Ingredients
- 1 tin chickpeas (400g), drained
- 80g walnuts
- 3 tbsp cacao powder
- 80ml maple syrup
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Zest of 1 orange
- Pinch salt

80g chocolate
Tahini swirl
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- Splash water
To finish
- Chopped walnuts
- Cacao nibs (optional)
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan) and line a tin.
- Blend all base ingredients until smooth and thick.
- Spoon into tin and smooth the top.
- Swirl tahini mixture through the top.
- Sprinkle with walnuts and cacao nibs.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes until just set.
