Looking for a snack that’s wholesome, delicious, and easy to grab on the go? These Banana Choc Chip Oat Bars tick all the boxes. Soft, chewy, and full of nourishing ingredients, they’re perfect for lunchboxes, after-school snacks, or even a fuss-free breakfast on busy mornings.

Bake Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 4 tbsp peanut butter
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 200g rolled oats
- 6 dates, chopped
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 50g dark chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a small baking tin with parchment.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Stir in peanut butter, dates, maple syrup, and vanilla.
- Add oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Mix well, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spoon the mixture into the tin and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and firm.
- Allow to cool before slicing into bars.
