These chocolate fruit & nut bark eggs are fun to make, easy to customise and perfect for gifting or sharing.
Makes: 8–10
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Chill Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- 300g dark chocolate
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp dried cranberries
- 2 tbsp chopped apricots
- 2 tbsp pistachios
- 1 tbsp flaked almonds
- Pinch sea salt
Method
- Melt chocolate and coconut oil gently over a bain-marie or in short microwave bursts.
- Spoon chocolate into egg-shaped moulds.
- Sprinkle generously with fruit, nuts, seeds and sea salt or add the fruit and nuts before the chocolate if preferred (treats inside the chocolate)
- Chill for 30 minutes until set.
- Store chilled in an airtight container.
