These little brownie bites are rich, fudgy and deeply chocolatey - but packed with fibre too.
Made with dates, walnuts, cacao and inulin powder, then finished with melted chocolate, tahini and sea salt for that sweet-salty balance.
The kind of snack that feels indulgent but still leaves you feeling good
Makes: 12 Prep Time: 15 mins Chill Time: 30 mins
Ingredients
- 200g Medjool dates, pitted
- 80g walnuts
- 3 tbsp cacao powder
- 2 tbsp inulin powder
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp espresso powder (optional)
- Pinch sea salt
To Finish:
- 50g dark chocolate, melted with coconut oil
- Sea salt flakes
Method
- Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until a sticky dough forms.
- Line a tray with baking paper.
- Drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle with sesame seeds and sea salt.
- Chill for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Store chilled.
