In the 10 years since Midland’s entrepreneur Nick Shutts opened his first Grape Tree store, the feel good food health chain has opened a new store on average every two weeks. The popularity of the brand and its reputation for quality health foods has supported the growth of what has become the fastest growing chain of health food shops in the country.

We have continued to open new stores across the country over the summer months taking our feelgood food into the heart of new communities.

We are thrilled to launch our latest reusable Grape Tree shopping bag. The addition of our light and foldable cotton shopping bag takes our tally to three in our 132 stores all over the UK.

The stunning market town within easy distance of the major regional hubs of Torquay and Plymouth, is now open for business with a new team ready to greet our customers. A main market town in the area for centuries, we are thrilled to be returning to this exciting South West hub. It is a place very much a part of the Grape Tree family as it was chosen as the location for our health food forerunner Julian Graves store many years ago.

The winter months proved to be busy for the Grape Tree team who open our new shops all around the UK. With four more Grape Tree stores popping up in recent months there is likely to be a feel-good food option in most parts of the country. Our new venues and staff in Tonbridge, Lymington, Truro and Bury St. Edmunds are all open and ready for business.

Grape Tree colleagues and customers have raised more than £2,000 for leading cancer support charity Look Good Feel Better during 2021.

We have chosen fabulous new locations to ensure that our feel-good foods are available in destination towns across the UK. Our latest additions to the Grape Tree family include Yorkshire’s finest, Harrogate, and the Shropshire town of Oswestry.

Two more new Grape Tree stores have opened, bringing the total number of stores across the UK to almost 130. The Grape Tree approach to healthy eating and quality affordable health foods can now be enjoyed in Bognor Regis on the south coast and in Keswick in the very heart of the Lake District National Park.

As the pandemic continues to affect how we live, Grape Tree is continuing to bring wholesome, healthy, good value foods to new locations across the UK.

Despite the pandemic Grape Tree has opened five new stores and more are on the way. The expansion, which will create dozens of new jobs, comes against the bleak retail background of shop closures and job losses across the whole of the UK.

The number of organic foods coming from the Grape Tree packing and labelling lines has now topped 50. Among the most recent new arrivals are tricolour quinoa which join chia, hemp and sunflower under the organic seeds banner.
