Kingsbridge

Kingsbridge in Devon is the latest addition to the ever-growing list of exciting locations for our Grape Tree stores.

The stunning market town within easy distance of the major regional hubs of Torquay and Plymouth, is now open for business with a new team ready to greet our customers. A main market town in the area for centuries, we are thrilled to be returning to this exciting South West hub. It is a place very much a part of the Grape Tree family as it was chosen as the location for our health food forerunner Julian Graves store many years ago.

As well as being an area of outstanding natural beauty, Kingsbridge is also a blossoming tourist centre being close to sailing areas such as nearby Salcombe.

Founder Nick Shutts said: “We are delighted to be opening again in Kingsbridge after many years away.

“We are looking forward to bringing our Grape Tree feelgood food message back to the town and want to welcome back our Julian Graves customers as well as inviting new faces into the store.”

There will be three members of staff at the latest store who will be supported by head office teams based in our West Midlands HQ specialising in sourcing organic whole foods from around the world.

“It has been a privilege to be able to create new jobs throughout the pandemic and we look forward to becoming a byword for affordable health foods in Kingsbridge and beyond,” Nick added.

Grape Tree continues to be the country’s fastest growing national health and wellbeing chain of stores with almost 130 shops across the UK, from Loch Lomond in Scotland to St Ives in Cambridge. Grape Tree was founded by entrepreneur Nick Shutts and has opened a new premises on average every two weeks since launch.
