We have continued to open new stores across the country over the summer months taking our feelgood food into the heart of new communities.

We are thrilled to launch our latest reusable Grape Tree shopping bag. The addition of our light and foldable cotton shopping bag takes our tally to three in our 132 stores all over the UK.

At Grape Tree our cashews are grown and processed in the west African country of Cote d’Ivoire by an innovative producer which works with local farmers to reduce the carbon footprint of the cashews and boost their local economy into the bargain.Typically, cashews grown in African countries are exported to India or Vietnam for processing. But our partners work differently. In the Cote d’Ivoire, Ivoirienne de Noix de Cajou, buy the raw cashew nuts from local farmers before processing them into kernels, employing staff from nearby communities

The stunning market town within easy distance of the major regional hubs of Torquay and Plymouth, is now open for business with a new team ready to greet our customers. A main market town in the area for centuries, we are thrilled to be returning to this exciting South West hub. It is a place very much a part of the Grape Tree family as it was chosen as the location for our health food forerunner Julian Graves store many years ago.

The winter months proved to be busy for the Grape Tree team who open our new shops all around the UK. With four more Grape Tree stores popping up in recent months there is likely to be a feel-good food option in most parts of the country. Our new venues and staff in Tonbridge, Lymington, Truro and Bury St. Edmunds are all open and ready for business.

We have chosen fabulous new locations to ensure that our feel-good foods are available in destination towns across the UK. Our latest additions to the Grape Tree family include Yorkshire’s finest, Harrogate, and the Shropshire town of Oswestry.

New research from an international team has shown that a diet rich in whole grains, fibre, fruit, and vegetables can affect immune health. Scientists from Germany, the Netherlands and Tanzania report that urban and rural populations can have differing immune systems as a result of their dietary choices.

Two more new Grape Tree stores have opened, bringing the total number of stores across the UK to almost 130. The Grape Tree approach to healthy eating and quality affordable health foods can now be enjoyed in Bognor Regis on the south coast and in Keswick in the very heart of the Lake District National Park.

As the pandemic continues to affect how we live, Grape Tree is continuing to bring wholesome, healthy, good value foods to new locations across the UK.
