A vibrant and refreshing iced latte with earthy ube, creamy oat milk & rich espresso. This easy drink comes together in just a few minutes - perfect for a vibrant afternoon pick-me-up.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Ingredients (serves 1)
- 200ml oat drink
- 1 tbsp Grape Tree Ube Powder
- 1 tsp maple syrup or agave syrup
- 1 shot espresso, cooled
- Ice cubes
Method
- Add the ube powder to a small bowl or jug with 2-3 tablespoons of oat drink (slightly warmed). Whisk until completely smooth with no lumps remaining.
- Stir in the maple syrup, followed by the remaining oat drink.
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour over the ube mixture.
- Slowly pour the cooled espresso over the back of a spoon to create a layered effect.
- Serve immediately and stir before drinking.
Notes
- For a sweeter drink, add a little extra maple syrup or agave.
- Chilling the espresso before pouring helps create more defined layers.
- For a frothier finish, froth a small amount of the oat drink before adding it to the glass.
