Two-Tone Berry & Super Green Smoothie

When you are torn on two flavours combinations why not try adding them together and creating your own two-tone design. We thought the berry and the green was very fitting in our Grape Tree corporate tones. And, when going head to head in a smoothie battle, how could you not choose this gorgeous two-tone smoothie to win? Fresh berries and a superfood hit of goji and baobab, combined with spinach, green power blend powder plus, pineapple and chia… a sure winner!

Ingredients

Purple layer-

  • 200ml water
  • 100g berries
  • 1 banana frozen
  • 1 tsp baobab powder
  • 1 date or 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp goji berries

Green layer-

  • Handful of spinach
  • ¼ frozen pineapple
  • 1 tsp super green power blend
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 200ml water

Method

  1. In a blender, blend water, berries and frozen banana, once smooth add baobab powder, goji berries, date or maple syrup and blend until smooth. Poor into a glass and set aside.
  2. Rinse blender, then blend the spinach, water and frozen pineapple together, once smooth add the super green powder and chia seeds and blend again. Gently spoon the mixture onto the top of the purple mixture, spoon around the inside edge of the glass to create a clean horizontal line.
  3. Serve and enjoy.
